Kevin Lien

Kevin is a Chinese-Canadian director working mainly in the music video and commercial field.

His work started in the music video space where he’s amassed over 150 million views working with labels such as Republic Records and Sony Music with artists like BoyWithUke, blackbear, Oliver Tree, Kira Kosarin, Sarah Cothran, Tobias Dray, and more. From there, he’s found space in the branded and commercial field. He’s worked with Nike, drew house, Converse, Toronto Maple Leafs, Hudson’s Bay Company, and much more.

His projects have been featured in the Austin Music Video Festival & Reel Asian International Film Festival. Always looking to push the needle visually with unique camera placements, dense edits, or beautiful compositions - he’s constantly trying to innovate. He prides himself on being able to bring a fresh style to authentic stories and offer a unique perspective on them.
