Felipe Vargas

Born in Colombia, Felipe's work is often inspired by Latin American music, mythologies, and magical realism.  He often works with children and young adults.

As a director, Felipe is attached to helm a feature for Paramount, produced by Roy Lee.  Felipe recently directed GENESIS, a music-driven project for Disney Channel.  In 2022, Felipe directed ALL THE HIGHS music video for acclaimed electronic artist San Holo, and wrote the treatment for FOREVER, a Gryffin and Elley Duhé music video. Felipe is a Pilot Writer and Co-EP on fantasy-adventure series LOTERÍA with TV legend Norman Lear's Act III Productions, Sony Pictures Television, and Amazon Freevee.  Felipe is attached to write an animated musical feature for Mattel Films based on a beloved IP. Felipe's work has garnered millions of views on YouTube for his short films MILK TEETH and THE GUIDE.  His work has been featured in over 100 film festivals including Oscar-qualifying festivals HollyShorts, Bogo Shorts, and Sitges.  He's been awarded a DGA and Imagen Award and was named one of Variety's Latino Creators to Watch.  Felipe is represented by Creative Artists Agency and Magnolia Entertainment.
